Aussie Net
Aussie Net is a netball coaching and development program that caters for five to ten year old boys and girls introducing them to the basics of netball. It encompasses development of motor skills, fitness and socialisation with other children.
It is totally fun and non-competitive, with no pressure put on children. It is simply letting them develop at their own pace and enjoy themselves in a safe, convenient and friendly environment and is aimed for girls and boys aged between 5-10 years old.
Sessions are made up of fun, exciting and innovative activities which focus on various skills and teamwork including:
- Warm up and stretching
- Shooting
- Offence
- Body movement
- Passing
- Footwork
- Defence
- Match play
Program Details
- The program runs on Monday afternoons during each school term of the year. It commences at 4.15pm to 5.00pm.
- The program will be conducted for an eight (8) week period and aims at providing children with a positive outlook on physical activity, be in a safe environment, gradually build confidence, emphasis on involvement and develop healthy lifestyles.
- Cost of the program is $50.00 per person.
- Child will receive a t-shirt, drink bottle, netball and specialised coaching.
